Set up in 1997, Roshanara is a French company specialized
in the creation and sale of women’s textile accessories, ranging
from:
shawls, stoles, scarves and bags to resort wear such as sarongs, wrap skirts, tunics, kurtas and kaftans.
To this we have added since the last 2 years, a selection
of jackets and coats that combine perfectly with our scarves
and bags.
The collections are developed by designer Roshanara in our Versailles office, and are manufactured in small units in India and Pakistan,
with whom we have developed a special partenership since more than 10 years of close collaboration.
All of our styles are exclusive.
In her creations, Roshanara is especially keep on using artisanal workmanship,
whether it is the hand weaving of the silk organzas
or two tone taffetas,
the colour dying, the printing and the wonderful embroidery work.
We hope in this way to help in the effort to preserve artisanship and jobs increasingly menaced by globalisation.
We are selling in more than 20 countries, to shops as well as department stores and chain stores.
